Deborah Darbonne is an experienced educator and school administrator with nearly 30 years of experience in the Miami-Dade County Public School system. Deborah has served as an elementary school principal since 2005, where she oversees all aspects of school operations to foster an effective, efficient and safe learning environment for students. Prior to becoming a principal, Deborah served as an assistant principal and special education teacher.
Deborah holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D) degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Florida, a Master of Education (M.Ed) in Special Education from the University of Miami, and an undergraduate degree from Florida International University. She is a skilled leader with expertise in organizational management, professional development, curriculum, public speaking, and research.
